A passer-by has made a grim discovery at Oliver’s Hill in Frankston this morning, finding a partially submerged body in the water.

The man’s body was located shortly after 6.30am, a short distance from the Oliver’s Hill boat ramp.

Water Police have been called to assist in the retrieval of the body, the area including the car park has been cordoned off.

Police say it is too early to determine the man’s identity, the circumstances of the man’s death and whether it’s suspicious.
